No - Not according to the official sysdoc.
This is the official OS requirements for the Omnivista 4.1 client:
Windows 2003 Server SP1
Windows XP Pro SP2
Windows 2003 R2
Windows 2000 Server (SP4)
Windows 2000 Professional (SP4)
I aint seeing any Linux in that list

Alcatel doesn't provide the installation program (.rpm or source) for Linux. Anyway you can try to install it on a Windows emulator and see if it works.
Let us know your result.
Regards.

And for the 4760i (integriert ohne the CS)?

for the 4760i, you just need to launch your web browser to the CPU IP address. You will need to download the correct Java RTE application and then run the Java Policy rights. Both is possible from the main page on the CPU.
So I guess, Linux or Windows is fine.
However, 4760i will only allow configuration and database backup of the system, whereas the proper full 4760 pack will allow reporting, alarm management, configuration of many nodes simultaneously etc..
