Hi people

What is your opinion about this incident?

04/09/11 18:22:05 000001M|005/06/-/---|=3:0011=ERROR : SU functioning 6
04/09/11 18:22:30 000001M|005/06/-/---|=3:0011=ERROR : SU functioning 6

It is a PCM R2 board. There's no problem with the calls through it. Everything works fine.

Thanks.

Ahhh marvels of Brasilian R2 which is a modification of the standard R2. Why? No clue. Had a long talk some time ago with a guy who had years here and I was surprised by it.
It shouldn't happen and that is why pbx complaints. But as far as I have traced it doesn't affect the functionality at all

Hi Eliott

It tells:
Decompressing /tmpd/incid_GEA.txt

INCIDENT NUMBER: 11
Network indicator: Alcatel 4400
OBJECT CLASS: Dhs3Board
EVENT TYPE: ProcessingErrorAlarm (10)
PROBABLE CAUSE: Unknown (0)
SEVERITY: Minor

"ERROR : SU functioning P1"
"P1 : Number of SU error"
"Fonctioning error on signalling unit"
"The SU cannot interpret an order sent by the CPU."
"no reaction of the system."
"Check the configuration for the equipment indicated by its position. If the"
"configuration is correct or if the equipment is of the "TERM_ALARM" type, note""
"the incident with all its information on an observation sheet (problem report),"
"specifying if possible the error context.";
But I don't have problems with the calls through the TG where the incident is showing.

Best regards.

So something in the signalling is not understood. Mmm. As you say you have no issue I agree with cav and you => Ignore it.
