greetings.

I tell them my problem I have a stack of 5 6602 switches interconnected by stacking cable.

A few days back the level of processing on the stack has become unstable as it goes from 10% to 100% several times during the day and I have no idea what might be going.

At this point disassemble a battery and I have 4-SW and the same behavior.

check each one individually to see SW had a problem that affected the other and found no problems

Hi,
if your system is defined as being not critical simple reload the stack(check stacking cable).
If you have no Alcatel Support(they solve namely such problems), you can experiment with Troubleshooting Guide (dshell, spyReport and so on).
Note. Dshell commands should only be used by Alcatel personnel or under the direction of Alcatel. Misuse or failure to follow procedures that use Dshell commands in this guide correctly can cause lengthy network down time and/or permanent damage to hardware.

Check for:
1) port "flapping" - it won't be hard to spot just search for the interface with a huge amount of status changes
2) spanning tree activation - "show spantree ports blocking"

None of the above is handled appropriately by 6602 switches and will cause the CPU to go to 100%.
