Hi , I have an oxe release 8.0.1 and am trying to connect an external music on hold through an SLI port on common hardware. I configured the port and if I connect my mobile or my laptop it works fine but when we are connecting a desktop computer it is not working. We tried with different laptops and mobiles and it works! We tried 2 different desktop pc's and it doesnt work.

I think it's a problem of impedance or something like that. Does anyone know the specifications the sound card needs to have to work with SLI port?

May be this is grounding problem?

Can you explain please so that I'll check.
I'm using the same cable i connect to laptop or mobile and it works, then i just remove it from laptop, connect it to the desktop pc and it doesnt work.

Check with multimetr (or oscilloscope) - precent AC (music) and what you have with DC (compare with laptop).
May be laptop have output via transformer (or protected again DC presence).
