Change Virtual Ext. Password

Does anyone knows how to change the virtual ext. password on Alcatel OXO R 5.0 ?

Hi,

just give your virtual ext. a mailbox. then call the mailboxgroup from a terminal, that doesn't have a mailbox. now you the system asks you to enter a mailboxnumber. here type the number of the virtual ext.. now you can change the default password and you will have to record a name, for the voicemail. after you've done that, you can delete the mailbox again. the password you changed will stay.

I try to simulate your advise but in my OXO set new password after creating mailbox is not always success ( after several test, I only succeed twice updating psw in different virtual mailbox). Is there any menu/option to change password inside the mailbox (after succeed opening a mailbox)?

Yeah after entering the mailbox number press 9 or * then follow the prompt, its one of them
