Hi

I create * for sending DTMF , so when I called outside and the answer point answers my call I can send DTMF correctly ,but now I want to deactive this feature between conversation and transfer this call to another one.
I want to use on analog sets and 4018(without using menu for active or deactive tone).
is it possible?please share your experiance.

Hi

Have you tried to set a key? I have never tried, but I think if you use a key you can enable and disable DTMF dialling on 4018.

Regards.

Hi swinstation

Analog sets don't need to enable DTMF, it is transparent, as I know.

Usual functioning is w/o activating automatic DTMF on trunk side, but activate and deactivate DTMF feature if needed in conversation. This is needed with Alcatel systems as automatic inquiry is used (system cannot tell weather you want to seize another line or send DTMF signals in this scenario).
With DTMF activated on trunk side you can try to disable it by pressing dyanamic DTMF key (on 4008/4018 you must press up arrow key until you reach the function and OK to activate/deactivate - this is while in conversation) or using DTMF suffix.
