Hi guys,

Am I correct in saying that callers cannot leave a message for someone who has their extended absence greeting enabled? :?

I know on the 4635 this was aqn option under COS but not sure on 4635. I've looked at the sysdoc and there is no mention of it.

TIA..

I think that is an option in the voicemail COS in the 4635.

In 4645 this is not an option.
As soon as you activate the absence message, leaving a message is not possible anymore.
If someone would like to receive messages during their absence, they should use a second welcome message and not the absence message.

Make sure that in the voicemail COS the time to keep 'not'read' messages is set long enough.
