4039 ring volume resetting

Hi Guys,

I have one 4039 that apparently is resetting each morning to a silent. The user changes the volume on the phone and after that it's fine.

The other odd thing is she can't change the volume through the menus and has to ring her phone and then change it.
I've had a look and nothing in the config stands out and I've tried resetting the phone as well.

My next test is going to be to swap her handset with another one but my gut feeling with this is it's programming as if there was something wrong I'd expect it to change the ring volume over the course of the day.

Mmmh. Strange.
But "Adjust audio gain" under Specific Telephone Services is set to True, right?

Sorry didn't get a notification of your reply!
That setting is correct.

I moved the set to another port on the phone system which seemed to make the problem go away but it's back again now, we have a redundant cs and a pcs and the problem came back when the system switched cs.
Now I'm a little stumped, anyone have any idea what this would be?

Hello,
We had the same problem when we turn in R10.1 (bascul between CS1 and 2). Our provider has applied a patch number 32. Since the fix, it seems working.
Try to see version or maybe on PCS board do a mastercopy when you're on the "good" configuration.

Exactly! I actually have moved on from this company and no longer am working with an Alcatel phone system so yeah. I think this one can be safely closed.
