Upload dynamic voice guide?

How do I upload a dynamic voice guide saved in wave format (it is a file) from my hard drive to the omniPCX OXE WITHOUT USING ALCATEL AUDIO STATION. I am trying to set up a new presentation/greeting guide.
I see who said that:
"To load the files in that path you must use FTP from your PC. When you enter via FTP the default location at the PBX is /DHS3bin/adfexc in this path you can put files so that you can send all the files to the path /DHS3bin/adfexc.
NOTE: Don't try changing the path via ftp to /DHS3ext/vg/dhs altough you can do it in that path you won't have autorizathion to put files, so that you must put them at /DHS3bin/adfexc. If you know Linux you can change attributes to the folder using the command chmode.

Once the files are at /DHS3bin/adfexc use the command cp to copy them to the path /DHS3ext/vg/dhs. You can check that the files are beeing recognized by the PBX entering mgr/System/Dynamic Voice Guides/Dynamic Voice Message Numbers, when you consult all instances the number of each file must appear otherwise the file hasn't the right file name."

Can it do? How to change attributes to the folder using the command chmode? I can't copy "cp /DHS3bin/adfexc /DHS3ext/vg/dhs"
thanks.

you must use alcatel audio station. it computes an checksum which is placed added to the file, without this you will never get the wav-file to your dynamic voice guides.

Hi,

I already develop an application to convert wave files into OXE/gpa ready to download files. In next days, depending of my availability, i will try to release a trial version, for test proposal.

Hi all

I make a trial version of the GPA voice guide tool. This tool runs on windows and converts a wave file of type CCITT 8KHz 8bit mono (can be recorded for instance using the Windows app Sound Recorder) into a ready to use GPA file. After the conversion, you only need to download the file into the OXE and active it.
This tool is very useful if your customer use dynamic voice guides, namely if he uses Genesys.
If anyone is interest in trying this app, please send me a private message, with your email contact and a brief explanation of the need, and i will send back the app.

Regards

I wrote a very detailed doc on how to use the AAS to do this. Frank is supposed to be uploading the doc to here. I will see if he can do that tonight. Its very detailed with screen shots.

I have done it and received information: "Database sanity check: Invalid file content". Could anyone help to solve this problem?
