oxe-ofs forced codecs possible?

system R 9.1 and 2 intip act 4 cpl 3 and act 4 cpl 5 and 120 codecs(g 723 g729)
ofs 8450 acting as external gateway and four chanals
issue for a specific intip (position 4 5) some faxes are received with error i suspect daughter board but they work (in service).teh issue never appears in all types of fax calls when intip 4 3 is acting !
my question is it possible to force codec on intip position 4 3 for ofs's calls ? mean each time when fax server is on communication rtp should go through intip 4 3 ? as per i have read the choice of the numebr of compressor for device and gateway in the intip parametres is not significative and oxe do the calcul it self? or we can already do it by assigning for exemple 30 compressor in intip 4 3 for gateways and others for devices and 0 compressor for gateway in intip 4 5 and 60 for device?.
