Hi All,

I am new to Alcatel devices and i am having experience only on Cisco. Currently my job requires me to support, configure, implement and design networks consists of Alcatel devices. I am a CCNP and would to take some certifications so that i would have better knowledge of Alcatel devices and its services. When i browse through the Alcatel-Lucent exams, i found the following.
Alcatel-Lucent Scalable IP Networks
Alcatel-Lucent Interior Routing Protocols and High Availability
Alcatel-Lucent Border Gateway Protocol
Alcatel-Lucent Multiprotocol Label Switching

i would like to take the above exams but totally confused where to start with. Each exam have a field called "Credit Towards Certifications:". which states another set of exams. So please advice where should i begin? I am totally confused.

regards
dathan

Depends on what networks you want to build zhe courses you state are (i think) from the NRS, which is carrier grade routing.
Cisco equivalent probably CCIP/CCIE Service provider

MPLS/BGP/... ? Then you need the courses..
Building smaller networks mostly L2/L3 switches, maybe with OSPF? Then you should go for ACFE OMNISwitch R7 and ACSE (way more work than ACFE) OmniSwitch R7.
ACFE less than CCNA
ACSE more than CCNP
