I got this question today: is it possible to forward a user to a mobile phone and send the external number, that is calling, to the mobile phone also.
So the question is: User A has an immediate forward to mobile phone M. When someone - Z - calls to A, then M wants to be able to see the number of Z instead of the number of A.
What feature do I have to set in Omnivista to make it possible to send the calling number with the forward?
Forward to mobile phone
Re: Forward to mobile phone
Z - internal or external user?
For internal - system/ other system param/ External sign param - NPD for external forwarding "-1" user A ID will be used. Manage NPD like in TG NPD selector parameters - user Z ID will be used.

Re: Forward to mobile phone
both external and internal. Most of the time only internal users, but I must keep in mind also external calls can be forwarded.
Re: Forward to mobile phone
With external user not so easy, PBX send calling number, this number used for payment and must belong to PBX. Therefore in this case must be used Redirect number - I'm do not know can Enterprise send redirect number in this case. May be in Release 8.

Still since R7.0 on ISDN trunk groups.vad wrote:With external user not so easy, PBX send calling number, this number used for payment and must belong to PBX. Therefore in this case must be used Redirect number - I'm do not know can Enterprise send redirect number in this case. May be in Release 8.
There's a flag in "Trunk group" which's named "Call diversion".

Re: Forward to mobile phone
As I remember this feature allow during incoming call to set with ordered external forwarding ask PTT about diversion and if have acknowledgement - in this case no B-channel will be used.
But from ticket (payment) of view (PTT) - one ticket CALLING USER-PBX and next PBX-FORWARD DESTINATION. PBX responsible for outgoing call (calling number - user who order forward).
If you order on GSM A forward to PBX user and call from user B - on PBX in t3 trace you will see CALLING NUMBER-User A and REDIRECT NUMBER-User B. In management you can select with number you want to see. But this is really two calls user B - user A (user B will pay) and user A - PBX user (user A will pay).

Re: Forward to mobile phone
you have to fill in the normal npd (see trunk group) in the "npd for external forward".
your provider must accept the external number, this feature is named clip no screening.
