Hi Folks,

I want to upgrade my OAW4306 from Release 6.2.x.x to Release 6.2.1.2.

But unfortunatly my controller tells me that he has not enough space.

Here is the output from show memory / show storage:
(OAW-4306) #show memory
Memory (Kb): total: 387576, used: 317652, free: 69924

(OAW-4306) #show storage
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/mtdblock11 156.0M 98.2M 57.8M 63% /flash
none 300.0M 1.8M 298.2M 1% /tmp
/dev/mtdblock9 50.0M 24.5M 25.5M 49% /mnt/img0
/dev/mtdblock10 50.0M 24.7M 25.3M 49% /mnt/img1

I have deleted some files by "tar clean crash", "tar clean flash" and "tar clean logs" but it isn“t enough...

What can I do now?
Thank you!
Best regards

Often it is the memory.

Try rebooting the device and then try again.

I had a similar issue, for some reason the upgrade image was saved in the wrong place and it wasn't showing when I issued the 'dir' command. I had to call Alcatel and they logged on to my controller and deleted it through the 'support' command (which requires a password that only Aruba know).

correct. You have to open a case at Alcatel. Via remote session they will delete unused files in a hidden partition....
than you can do the update.
This occures if you have uploaded wrong code to the switch (maybe for an other controller type) or if you have uploaded jpg-files for captive portal.

My problem is solved. I opened a ticket and they deleted a corrupted image in the hidden partition and I could update without any problems...
