Hey guys,

I have a site, new install, many issues with Protel PMS software, just as we thought it was all sorted today finally! When Check In is run the analog room phones in the guest rooms now beep like the VMail has left a message?

Any way to stop this please?

I am not sure about hotel mode. Wouldn't it be because you have made a check-in? OXO probably created the mailbox, so there is a beep that indicates that the guest must activate his mailbox.

Correct. But how to stop the vmail being created when a room is checked in???

I did some test for knowledge. In my case, target Brazil, OXO doesn't create mailbox when I make check-in.
I could notice when there is wakeup time configured, during check-in or by default, OXO changes the internal tone of the room set. Is this your issue?
If you don't configure wakeup time, there is no changing in the internal tone.

Did you ever get this sorted?

Think it is to do with the MWL setting in the OxO which is too large and causes the ringer to sound rather than just the lamp.

This can be adjusted using the MakeSPRing in Debug labels

We had same issue but with sip phones. The problem is with the setting "Send NOTIFY instead of MESSAGE " change to YES and your phones will not randomly beep.
