SIP Trunking on R9_1 UK

Good Day,
I have a situation getting SIP trunking working on R9_1 software with Gamma SIP trunks and was wondering if anyone else has a similar experience or knows of any information on the subject. Alcatel / UK SIP providers are slightly behind in accreditation so support is lacking through the official channels.
Scenario:
We currently run Gamma SIP Trunks with Registration on an OXO R9 system without many major headaches, just one way speech occasionally on an 8082 handset. We do not use the IP Authentication IPDC version as this is not flexible enough for our usage. Configuration is an Alcatel OXO on R9.0 with 3SIP trunk on a Draytek 2830 Router through standard Broadband.
Upgraded the system to R9_1, and we tried a normal upgrade but this caused the SIP trunks to fail completely. Built a new R9_1 system and configured the SIP trunks on this and we get one way speech only, no outgoing speech path. Tweaked the Draytek router to have SIP_ALG, still no joy. Tried different routers until settling on a Netgear DGN2200 and run SIP_ALG, we get outgoing speech path on some calls, not them all. I have installed Voiceflex UK SIP trunks on this system and they work both ways every time.
Now I know that Gamma are moving onto IP Authentication only but we are looking to keep the Registration as this allows us redundancy for the current situation. Does anyone have experience of this issue on R9_1, especially with the UK Gamma trunks on registration?
Any thoughts / insight would be appreciated.
