Nice Network IP Dr Link Recording

Hi everyone,
I try to set up a network recorder on my Alcatel network.
I have already installed TDM DR LINK, Network TDM DR LINK and IP DR LINK.
Now, i have configured all sides (Nice, Alcatel) but i cannot record (monitoring ok)
Presales said we only need:
- lock 130 (=1 for Nice)
- lock 164 (we have more than 100)
The related error is a SECURITY_VIOLATION but i cannot find why.
My configuration:
OXE R9.1
Nice Perform 3.5 (Selective Active by Device)
CSTA:
central node => no
Associated node => the node number
IP DR Link support => yes
Phone cat:
Record Auth: 1 (yes)
Logger: Nice Logger have been add
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
olk

Did you declared the IP Logger address? Is this address accessible from your phone vlan?
What is the value for lock 334 Max. IP recording?
End of recording at the end of call CSTA parameter set to NO?
Which is the release of your OTS (TSAPI Premium) server?
Is Encryption used (IP Touch Security)?
If you use recording for CCD users (acd agents) is the proacd set also monitored?
Can you show us the logs from your VRS?
SECURITY VIOLATION is mainly generated after a Start IP Recording (recording request)
command.
origin 1: Recording not authorized on this station (check the “Record Authorization flag”)
origin 2: if occurs at the start-up phase, it can mean a Dr-Link connection already exist (stop
TSAPI service to restart from scratch)
origin 3: IP recording not supported (the station is not an IP Touch Series 8, the licenses are
not present , IP recorder not declared in the OXE database, ...)

Hi tot3nkopf,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, IP Logger address have been added.
How i can check if this address can be view by the phone VLAN?
lock 334 => 0
End of recording... => No (as another site which are recorded on IP DR LINK (no network))
OTS => 6.4.3
No Encryption
What is VRS? The tsapi tester (cstast32.exe)?
I've seen the Alcatel TC mentionned.

I think this should be different from 0 and equal to the number of simultaneous monitored devices

No, it is your logger.
Did you add the second node in the TSAPI Prem server configuration? Did you restarted the service after doing so? (if not check TC1601)
Check the IP DR-Link troubleshooting guide. (look for it on ABPS)
Make also a simulation of recording using cstatst32.exe You can find the procedure in the troubleshooting document.

Initially, i was thinking as you about lock 334 but presales (alcatel partner) said no...
Yes, i add the second link (and i can see it in @IP/csta_mono as Nice Link...). Restart already done. The monitoring side works fine.
I have this guide. The simulation have given an error message "SECURITY VIOLATION" when i try to record a device. The doc said:
"In case of problem, a SECURITY VIOLATION or other error messages occur" => Not very helpful

From the csta tester:
##############################################################################
17:05:57 3 CSTA Escape Service : Start IP Recording
17:05:57 3 CSTA CONFIRM Failure SECURITY_VIOLATION

Seems a licensing issue. IP Reocrder value is 1 or 2?

Hi,
The IP recorder type (lock 130) value is 1. My Alcatel partner assume that no need to have more licences.
Thanks.

From Actis:
Note: With IP DR-link, there are no “local” or “remote” licences. The recording requirements are defined for each OXE since the IP Touch sets of several OmniPCX Enterprises can send a copy of the conversation requested to the same recorder.
I would say that your partner is wrong. I assume they considered same approach for network TDM DR-Link for IP DR-Link, which is not the case. Ask for license for lock 334, that will open also CSTA By-Pass licenses also needed.

Hi tot3nkopf,
Many thanks for your reply !!!
I will ask new licences instead of old ones.
