OXO dynamic routing & second call waiting

Is there a way to divert call after certain number of rings to second extension so that call stops ringing at the main extension
and start to ring on the second set.As in dynamic routing the second extension ringing but the main continues to ring.
Secondly ,i changed the MultiSetRing parameter to 00 in other labels for normal ring for second call, but still the second call only flashes without any audio signalling.
Its very urgent Please.

You are talking about internal or external calls? On how many levels did you configure dynamic routing (it is limited to 2 on ext calls)? Did you ticked the dynamic routing apply on resource keys?
Regards.

About MLTSETRing parameter: it concerns MultiSet feature of OXO (One Main set and one or two Secondary sets). It does not concern single Multiline set.
There are no Ring for second call in OXO, only "beep" every N second in headset or loudspeaker( if handsfree). You need Technical Communication 80_edition05. You can modify "std_campon_ton" in I_TONES table. In R6.0 for Russia N=20 sec. (C8Hex=200 Dec= 20 sec.). Warm reset required after modification.
I don't know the way for changing this default behaviour (except moving to OXE).

i am talking about both;internal and external calls.

Hi all,
concerning the dynamic routing:
It is possible to route a call after a timer to a second set with stopping the ringing of the first set (a "real" Forward on time) -> if you go trough the ARS with a "local"-trunk group.
Simply create a prefix (e.g. "9") in the internal numbering plan with the base "ARS". In the ARS-table create a TG with a "local"-line. In the ARS-table create a record with the "ARS-prefix", the range is your internal numbering plan (e.g. 100-999 if you have extension from 100-999). The TG is the "local"-line. So you can call all extension with 9 xxx (e.g. extension 111= 9 111).
Second you have to create a speed dial with the destination of the dyn. Routing with the ARS-Prefix (e.g. Speeddial 8000, Name: abcdefg, TG: 9, destination numer: 111).
If the destination of the dynamic routing is the collective speed dial the the call steps after timer 1 (default: 12 sec) to the second set and the first set stops to ring.
By the way: With this little trick it is also possible to have a Dyn.Routing-chain (Set 110 -> after 12 sec -> Set 111 -> after 12 sec. -> Set 112 and so on.... (there is no limit as far as I know...)
Hope this helps..
Best regards

Although I agree that this works 100% im going to throw in that it corrupts the data base. - The system ends up having to work to hard and will after around 6months start to show small bugs like phone buttons not working, displays not changing.
Ive used this method on around 5 site's and all had the exact same issue.

Thanks.I will try it today and come back.By the way the Local line for this purpose has to be a part of real analog or ISDN trunks?Or ?

It will not demand any real trunk line to be put in the trunk group if it is defined as "local" in ARS.

Aamir.
