Urgent Help!

Hi Everyone,

My customer has virtual office (not to be confused with virtual user).

They lease out their offices and in dial numbers to small business in the local area or ones that want to look like they are local.

How it works is, a caller rings for say Bob’s plumbing the in dial points to a virtual extension that is dynamically routed to the front desk they look at the screen and answer it “Hi welcome to Bob’s plumbing”.

The problem arises now that they need another 100 in dial range as the Alcatel only support 237 ports (I think).

1. Is this a problem or can we just keep creating more and more virtual extensions.

2. By making it a duel cabinet will this expand the available ports.

3. If we networked to CPU’s would that work. ( having all victuals routing to the reception group).

Maybe can some one give me the specific information so...

On OXO Nb of virtual extensions + nb of digital + nb of analog extensions = nb of digital + nb of analog extensions.
So if you have to create 100 virtual extensions you nedd to have licence for x + 100 ext where x = nb of digital + nb of analog extensions.
Refer to your sales team and see if they can add you 100 analog users for that PBX in Actis.
On OXO there is no such thing as Network. This is a commercial limitation of OXO.

Regards.

There is limitation on the ammount of users that's why you must ask your sales team to try to update your configuration in such a way that you will have licence for 100 virtual extensions. This will be problematic only if you have over 130 physical sets.

Regards.

This can also be done using Hunt Groups, the name of the group will display on the set "bobs plumbing" and there is up to 50 available depending on the numbering plan, failing that upgrade to OXE
