Hello,
i'm Hugo and i have one 9700 as core and 14 6400
i have freeradius with 802.1x , i have mac auth too.
the problem is hosts with windows xp or linux desktop like ubuntu, with 802.1x work great, but if i use mac auth, the radius work, the port in the switch is on vlan that radius reply the attribute for that user, but windows xp or linux don't get IP

Anyone as the same problem with xp and linux clients ?

I assume you have a DHCP server in that VLAN, probably with relays if you're talking about several VLANs?

My tests show that this works as expected with my 6450. Can you trace the DHCP requests or at least see they're sent on the PC interface after mac auth succeeded? Does the DHCP server indicate that it sees requests coming in?
