Hi,
Just out of curiosity, anyone tried ISSU (in-Service Software Upgrade) on oS6900?

Yes.. several times.
Worked more or less always in lab, worked some of the time in production.
Have an SR open, to fix a problem related to that.
i would not try (at least based on my experiences), to issu without a maintanance window and an announced downtime (not needing that is fine, not anouncing one and downing the network for 15 minutes is not good)

I have a question about this as well. Namely, I would like to do this through Omnivista. I've successfully upgraded our 6250 switches with Omnivista and am ready to take the leap. However, it seems that in order to do an ISSU you have to have ISSU compatible software. Only a few of these show up on Alcatel's support site. None of them are the latest.
Am I reading my documentation and the support web site correctly or have I missed something?
BTW, our network has recently replaced our Cisco equipment with full ALU cores and border routers with a minimum of fuss. We had some huge hurdles to get to this point but so far we're doing OK.
