4135 Codec

Post by Maulwurf »

Hi,
I have running 5x4135 on OXE R11 as SIP Extension. FW 4135: 1.5.19
On 4135 i must set codec G722 Priority to 0. If not deactivate G722, 4135 cannot register.
It works, but problem ist bad audio quality sending from 4135 to external Devices (echo).
Can you help me please?

when you said bad audio when using polycom is it from 4135 to polycom ?
or from polycom behind analog to extrnal part
you use digital line or nddi(analog) as external access.
need sip trace when 4135 make call?

Only the "outcalling" volume is too low.
IP 4135 to extern ISDN or analog Polycom Soundstation 2 to extern ISDN
Same with internal calls from 4135 or Polycom to analog, TDM or Alcatel IP Touch.
Loudspeaker on 4135 and Polycom are ok but the "outcalling" volume is too low.

may be you have to manage use of volume in system under trkg (isdn)-go down trunkg :set to yes
also in the trunk group compression type is default?.
in your sip trace what codec is chosen by both parts(4135 and oxe).
when usig a tdm ip or analog set the communication is ok there is no issue?

Codecs in 4135 G711, G729. G722 disabled.
I think analog user Poycom standard G711
