SFPEX or other third party SFP experiances?

Looking for any experiences using third party SFPs from SFPEX or Approved Optics in the 6900. Any issues with compatibility or failures?
So far my Alcatel Gear utilized every SFP i gave it - i still would do a test with a sfp before buying huge amounts.
But always remember Alcatel Support may/will stop handling your tickets if you have non certified SFPs in your switch.
