cant add a port to a lag. I get the error MINOR: LAGMGR Insufficient Services Resources - Can not aggregate
MINOR: CLI Could not add port "port" to LAG "lag#"

this is on an IOM3 with 10g mda that has nothing else coming off of this IOM. I have a ticket open but wanted to get some input to see if anyone has seen issue.

I actually love those post. It's like asking a question "My car does not work, can you help?"

how are you trying to aggregate the ports ?
Please give full hardware conf, and command line you are using.

We are not (at least I am not) a psychic and can't read brains. be EXPLICIT.

I was asking this just to see if anyone had experience with the error and then go from there. I already had a case open but though I bring it up on here.

I got it resolved and wanted to update the forum for others to possibly get some direction. Its not real EXPLICIT but maybe give an idea.

we were trying to increase the lag from 3g to 10g with 1 10g port and ran into the resources issue with the ingress queues.
I tried to rebuild to lag to free up queues but didn't free enough.
We tried deleting the lag and rebuilding it with ONLY 10g port in it. The port
was accepted into the LAG this time. However, the lag could not be added to
the interface due to a resource issue.
Due to the way resources are allocated on one of our MDAs(iom-20g-b) I moved a port using the most resources
to another card (IOM3)
I was then able to remove old ports and add 10g port into the lag
