MyICPhone can't call but receive

Post by jpissot »

Hi,

My installation is OXE R11 with OTMS.

I ve created on OT user with 8082 device.

My 8082 starts correctly but I'cant call with it. A message wrong number appears.

Therefore, with my 4038 (oxe user), i can call the 8082 and the commuication is OK.

In "Search Menu", I find the oxe users but when I Call an extension, the message "wrong number" appears on the screen.

Thank you for your help.

it's under the oxe node under topology ( from memory) look for the tab "ranges", in there you add all the numbers you want to dial in the oxe.
say your extn range is 7000-7999 and you have a mixture of OT and OXE users in that range you can still add the full range as the OT will look at it's internal numbers first then if not found look to see if an oxe has the number allocated.

Hi,
In OT Configuration, under Application, I find Dial Plan and Numbering Range.

In Dial Plan, there are all the extensions of the OXE and OTMS. The extensions thaht I try to call from my 8082 is 2305. 2305 is well present as "Device type".

In Numbering Range, i ve created a range 200O to 2999 with Max size to 1000 (all my extensions are betwenn 2000 and 2999).

For my case, My 4038 is 2305, and my 8082 is 2484.

Enclosed screenshot of the configuration.

Thank you.

It is under applications where the oxe has been setup, it is on 1 of the tabs of the oxe callserver.

in regards to the 69 you will also need to set that up in the same area, you can add multiple prefixes.

Can you tell me what is the right tabs, please?

I ve already verify this :
In Dial Plan, there are all the extensions of the OXE and OTMS. The extensions that I try to call from my 8082 is 2305. 2305 is well present as "Device type".
The extensions are automatically created.

In Numbering Range, i ve created a range 200O to 2999 with Max size to 1000 (all my extensions are betwenn 2000 and 2999).

Thank you for your help.

Direct from the documentation:-

To define a Range:

From the OmniVista 8770 configuration application: select the OpenTouch server and open the Configuration window

Navigate to: System services > Topology > OXE callservers > OXE network > OXE subnetwork > Physical server > Call Server

Double click your SIP Server name to open the SIP Server properties window

Select the Range tab

Right click on Number ranges and click Add

In the Minimum field, enter the first number of the range

In the Maximum field, enter the last number of the range

Click Apply or Save

you need to make sure you have followed all the procedure for it all to work correctly.

if you have remote access i am happy to help for a price :)
