Have an issue after upgrading from release 10.0 j1410.40c to 11.0.1 K152029e. During outbound calls, from Polycom IP 7000. Call is dropping after 30 sec. Inbound calls works fine.
I have a twin CPU, in spatial redundancy mode
I followed the IWR for internetworking the Polycom IP 7000. I am using the IP address in the Polycom SIP configuration. I tried with the OXE DNS name, as well.
Polycom software is 4.0.1.13681
On R 10.0 it works, anyone used Polycom on release 11.0.1?

Is the user a sip extension? There are a few post with this behavor. Sip extension drops after 30 seconds and sip device after 4 seconds. This is a dns problem I thought the oxe get no acknowledge after connect so a timer runs out and the oxe disconnect .....mostly the problem was solved if you put the ip address of both oxe as dns server in the polycom.
Or you try it with a dns deligation for the oxe.

It is configured as remote extension. I tried using both IP's did not resolve the issue. I am trying to use FQDN. I think it is a DNS issue, and looking how to solve it...

Remote extension ? You mean sip extension or not?
Check netadmin => host database for correct entries

DNS on Polycom was not configured. We had to configure manually the DNS server on the polycom. and Checked the DNS entries for the OXE IP.
problem resolved..
