7705 SAR Port Testing

Does anyone know if there's a loopback that can test the Ethernet ports on a SAR-F & SAR-M? I've tried a RJ-45 hard loop but doesn't work. I need something small and quick to test with, as I work in the field. Thanks!

You can use internal port loopback functionality on ethernet ports. This will bring the port up and loopback any egress packets to ingress like a physical loopback. It is under configure port <x> ethernet loopback. Cheers
