hey, this is my first post and I am kinda new to Alcatel switches and I hope some helpful guys here can help me with the config

Generally my setup is as such: Phone > 6450 > 6900 > Voice Servers

The voice vendor asked me to implement the following on Voice Segment

TOS/ Diffserv 46
SIP Diff. Serv 40
802.1p priority 5

and the following in Data Segment

Mobile Client SIP IP TOS 40
Softphone RTP IP TOS 5

Voice and Data are in separated VLAN and in separated switch as well but both gateway are in 6900.

Can some kind soul please advise me how can I go about configuring the above in both 6450 and 6900 base on the requirement?

All helps will definitely be appreciated! Thanks!

There are some solutions. Best way will be, that the phone sents your prio inside all of the packets and your switches has to trusts this prio. Depending of the phones you can set it staticly in the phones or in the pbx. Or you can set it it via lldp-med (switch triggers the phones with it):
vlan 5 name voice
vlan port mobile 1/1-48
vlan 5 mobile-tag enable
lldp network-policy 1 application voice vlan 5 dscp 46 l2-priority 5
lldp network-policy 2 application voice-signaling vlan 5 dscp 40
lldp chassis tlv med network-policy enable
lldp chassis med network-policy 1 2

Othe way is to priorice with a policy all traffic in voice vlan - but than also the the signalling will have the higher priority (in my opinion this isn't a problem for you):
policy condition IP-Phone source vlan 5
policy action PRIO5 802.1p 5 dscp 46
policy rule IP-Phone condition IP-Phone action PRIO5
qos apply

If you know the udp/tcp ports of signalling (SIP) and voice stream you can create your own conditions with this ports and set the appropriate prio. This is also the onliest solution for softphones if the client doesn't support priorisation by itself.
