HP XG6125 Blade-Switch with Alcatel

I was forced to configure a HP G/XG6125 with a Alcatel Switch.

I tried to configure a standard LACP

Code: Select all

! Link Aggregate :
lacp linkagg 1 size 2 admin state enable
lacp linkagg 1 actor admin key 1
lacp agg 1/1 actor admin key 1
lacp agg 1/2 actor admin key 1
and attached 2 Gigabit ports form the 6125 Blade (running IRF) towards the 6450.

On HP side (i am no HP guy :-/) i configured by manual:

Code: Select all

system-view
interface bridge-aggregation 20
link-aggregation mode dynamic
interface gi 1/1/5
port link-aggregation group 20
interface gi 2/1/5
port link-aggregation group
unfortunatly LACP won't come up.

Alcatel:

Code: Select all

-> show linkagg port

Slot/Port Aggregate SNMP Id Status Agg Oper Link Prim
---------+---------+-------+----------+----+----+----+----
1/1 Dynamic 1001 CONFIGURED NONE DOWN UP UNK
1/2 Dynamic 1002 CONFIGURED NONE DOWN UP UNK

Has anyone any HP experiences and could help?

Fixed it myself, probably was some kind of configuration crap leftover in HP. After defaulting the HP side it went fine.
