Hello,

I've installed GNS3 version 1.2.3 in a Windows 7. Although virtual routers start properly, they are rebooted from time to time and console show a message like this:

Watchdog: Task 0x1f78e21c (sshKeyGenTask) suspended for 501 ticks.
can only run one tt() at a time

Watchdog: Task 0x1ff97e94 (sysMonitor) blocked for 105 ticks.
can only run one tt() at a time
*** Blocked task info during crash dump - ending ***

Rebooting...

What does it mean? How can I avoid the rebooting?

Thanks, best regards.

It seems as the system crashes.
I can run 7 vSR's in GNS3 at a time, but its slow and very cpu intensive.
Sometimes one of the 7 crashes, but that seems to be related to the qemu binary instead of the vSR.

If you dont have a license, the vSR will reboot every 60 minutes.

show system license

A:vSR01# show system license

===============================================================================
Current License
===============================================================================
License status : reboot pending, missing license record
Time remaining : CPM A will reboot in 50 minutes

Hi Stoffen ,

Out of curiosity

How much ram do you use (not the actual used but your total) when you're running 7 vSRs and what type of processor are you using ?

Thanks
Ed

I have a laptop with Intel core i7 4700MQ @ 2,4 Ghz, 16 gigs of RAM.

With 7 vSR's CPU is 100% utilized, 4 cores 8 threads.
12-13 gigs of RAM is consumed.
