Problem port up/down with Virtual-Chassis 2x6900
Posted: 04 May 2015 04:50
Hello all,
I need any help about this issue. I will explain the topology:
We have two switchs 6900 Model setting as Virtual-Chassis.
OS6900 ----VFL-----OS6900
(Master) (Slave)
We have some servers with two NICs. Each NIC is connected to one port of each switch. For example:
Server1 nic 1 -----to----- OS-Master port 1
Server1 nic 2 -----to----- OS-Slave port 1
(and so on)
Servern nic 1 -----to----- OS-Master port n
Servern nic 1 -----to----- OS-Slave port n
The main issue is that some ports is down instead of the fiber is connected properly between the switch and the server.
The system is versión is: "Description: Alcatel-Lucent OS6900-X40 7.3.3.384.R01 GA, December 08, 2013.,"
We have checked the log and we haven't found any information about this problem. Also, we have checked the SFP transceivers and everything is ok.
Anybody have an idea about what is it the solution?
Thanks in advanced,
Best Regards,
