Phone stuck on Trying to connect

Hello,

I just made a new vlan for our ip phones for a different branch. Phone can ping the OXE ip, and OXE can ping the ip the phone gets in DHCP.

However, the phone is just stuck on "Trying to connect", then reboot.

In the logs, I can see this message :

(30/07/15 15:08:22) DL : MAC addr spoofing attempt on xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx(DL=52)
(30/07/15 15:08:22) DL : ERROR - MAC addr spoofing (idx_tab_ua=0)

I've looked at the TC1154 document, but couldn't find any revelant info. This subnet is unique to this vlan and is not being used elsewhere.

My DHCP options are set correctly (Basically I just copied all settings we have in our working setup except subnet and gateway...)

I am kind of new in the Alcatel word and still discovering things everyday... So any help/hints would be really appreciated.

Maybe your switch has something to do. The MAC Spoofing message is no good. Something on the network has same MAC and already on OXE

Actually I just took a phone from our current working setup and connected it to the new vlan. Could that be possible that somehow OXE is keeping MAC/IP association somewhere and then is getting confused ? I checked the switch arp table and there's only one reference of the mac address.

Maybe your switch is keeping old mac?

spoofing must be disable at switch and you should check to 802.1x configuration on the ip phone
