question to 7750 TDM experts

is there way to shutdown port 3/2/1.vt15-4.2.1.1 ?
I'm trying to shut down DS1 aps-1.4.2.1.1
but VT stil stays up.

conf port 3/2/1
tdm
path vt15-4.2.1.1 shutdown
is it working?
If not I am not sure if u can shutdown the path vt15-4.2.1.1 but you should be able to shutdown the E1 or whatever port is related for that particular path.
conf port 3/2/1
tdm
e1 4.2.1.1
shut

I think when you using aps.. you can find... you should use this command
/configure aps-1
/tdm ds1 4.2.1.1 shutdown
