Linkagg - Channel-group 1 mode passive

Hi all,

I need help for Alcatel equivalent Cisco commands shown below. Thanks in advanced! :)

interface Port-channel1
switchport access vlan 8
switchport mode access

interface GigabitEthernet0/31
switchport access vlan 8
switchport mode access
channel-group 1 mode passive
spanning-tree portfast
spanning-tree bpduguard enable
!
interface GigabitEthernet0/32
switchport access vlan 8
switchport mode access
channel-group 1 mode passive
spanning-tree portfast

Are you sure that you want to do LACP Passive? (never understood why you want to restrict which side can start a lacp handshake)

Unfortunately i do not think that setting is possible on AOS (or art least i don't know how).

But it should work fine when you setup a "default" lacp

Are you referring to the commands below?

lacp linkagg 1 size 2 admin state enable
lacp linkagg 1 name "connect to F5"
lacp linkagg 1 actor admin key 1
lacp agg 1/31 actor admin key 1
lacp agg 1/32 actor admin key 1

yes.. this should create a normal "active" lacp which should work fine with a "active" counterpart.
you need to set the vlan
vlan 8 port default 1

I'd ommit bpduguard and portfast (which should be fine with autoedge anyway)

like devnull has written: there is no way at omniswitches to create passive lacp. I never missed it.
