Hi,
is there a way/method to monitor traffic for specific LSP, especially on transit router (LSR node)?
Thanks,

Define monitor? You want to look at individual flows or services?
Using cflowd you can export netflow statistics to an application. Transit nodes are only looking at the outer label so you need something smart enough to have a view of the network from the service perspective, i.e the inner label, pwe, RTs etc. Cariden Mate (now owned by cisco), Opnet and Packet Design are a few but they're six figures to buy. Never found anything open source of merit when I was looking but that was a number of years ago.

Hi candy,
thanks for the respond, i just want to know the utilization of each transit lsp under LSR node,
as same as we use command "monitor port x/y/z ........."
so, when there is a congestion under transit node, i can trace what transit lsp which has high traffic utilization then i can go to originate node and reroute the lsp path,

Hmm not sure if you can do that. You can get statistics at the head end but probably not on the transit node. Maybe SAM has some form of accounting?
When the packet gets to an LSR it doesnt hit the control plane, simply switched by the line card, so is there a way for the router to correlate the amount of packets switched based on a label swap action? I know in IOS you have the traffic count under show mpls forwarding but not sure if such a stat exists in SROS.
There doesnt seem to be anything in tools dump router mpls that would show you this. Maybe netflow (cflowd) would be your best bet.

are you not monitoring your interface utilization?

Hi candy,
thanks for your advice, i will explore cflowd for SROS first.
Hi Rekeds,
Yes, i monitor my port interface utilization and this port indicated high traffic/congestion. so i need to reroute lsp transit which through this interface so that the utilization can decrease without any changes L3 routing protocol parameters and no impact with service which use ldp as transport tunnel

Hi,
Is there any way to identify LSP traffic on particular interface/Port? I need to identify which LSP is carrying most traffic in order to offload physical interface.

What version SROS do you use? there is a way in SROS 19.10 can configure to collect data statistic via CLI or telemetry.
