Script to delete bulk of objects

i want to delete a bulk of objects around 200 - 300 in vital QIP 8.0 . i would like to do this via script as it is a time consuming process through GUI. can somebody advise how can we achieve this i also want to check each object by PING and if only it fails i want to delete it. what are the ways to achieve this.
