s0 sets

Post by jbomber021 »

Hi good day

does anyone here knows the set up of an s0 set?

We have a client who is using a s0 sets to make a video conference call using the their Tandberg Device. Now the problem is when they change their old PABX (Crystal) to their NEW common pbx they cant make a call outside using that tandberg device. i did follow the manual on how to create a TA adapter, S0 Bus , and S0 users. They are using 4059 ta adapter. when i call the S0 users and allotted DID numbers on that said S0 users the call is connected but when i try to access an outside call on that tandberg device i cant make a call it only says "temporary network failure". I think this device cant access the trunk. Can anyone here can help in this matter?

thanks,

As I understand we say about 4094 adapter (not 4059).
No difference between crystal and common hardware. Create a TA adapter, S0 Bus , and S0 users.
If you use adapter without digital set - you need to open adapter and change strapping from default (check in system doc - system doc/ hardware/ TA and TCS adapter/ TA-CTI-S0 (4094).
You have problem only with outgoing calls? With local calls - no problem?

maybe it is a voip problem?!?
are the ta adapter and the connection to the public network in the same media gateway?
and if not is ip modem-data transparency switched on?
