Hi,

I've little problem to figure out "autonegotiate limited" configuration? i read in documentation guide about it, and still can't understand how it implemented in real network.
one example in my live network is, there is a lag where the port configuration use "autonegotiate limited", this lag attached to access device which doesn't has LACP capable,

is there any correlation between LACP and "autonegotiate limited"?

Hi,

This was used usually to ensure that all ports in a lag were same speed. As if fully in auto, the speed could drop from one gig to 100mbps and then one port member at different speeds to others.

So it is set to limited, to allow auto but only for specific values, usually one gig.

I don't believe any direct relation to lacp.

I think lags may now allow multi speeds etc, but always used to need to be.

Hope this helps
