Environment:
OXO R10.3 (4 digits password initialization)
OLD Driver 2.3.12
Opera 5

In 'release_note_oldriver_2_3_12_ed14.pdf' document, 'Known O. L. D limitations' section is written:
'It is required to send a Password in the Check in frame to the OLD. Otherwise, the Voice mail will not be initialized.'

The problem is that if voice mailbox is not automatically initialized at check-in the guest is forced to change their phone password and register their name by message waiting LED notification, which is not acceptable.

But Opera does not support sending the password in the check-in or modify messages.

What solution could be found in this case?

Hi,

I used AHL Simulator with OXO R7.1 and found that indeed from OLD 2.2.0 to 2.3.12 there is same problem if PMS not send password in check-in frame. Alcatel thought differently from Opera mailbox initialization.

However there is no solution in this case?
