Call history / missed call log

We have a recently moved one of our satellite offices into a serviced office with provided comms. The provided 4010 easy reflex phones are on an Omnipcx 4400 system. I have ordered some 4020 phones to replace these to allow DSS indicators and some other functions for ease of use. Reading through the user manual there is mention of a "Call Log" key that can be programmed. Is there anything additional required for this to work? (Cards in the PABX, modules for phone etc).

I don't administer this system directly and unfortunately the tech at the business centre only has a basic knowledge of telephone systems. They didn't appear to have any knowledge of this feature and don't use it on their phones.

4400 PBX, 4020 phones and "call log"?

Check PBX type/release - call log possible for Enterprise (4400 was previous PBX version) from release 11.2, for sets like 4029.

Thanks,

I would need to check what release they are on, but we wouldn't be able to upgrade anything. The difficulty is that our company doesn't own any of the PBX equipment so we are stuck with what we are given, I can only really replace things in the office that we rent.

I have purchased a number of 4020 refurbished phones to give our users a more "User Friendly" phone, there are these and the 4035 phone in use. I haven't seen anything newer plugged in to their system.

We have enquired about PC based software to give access to this kind of information however were told that there was nothing available. There are CTI modules for this model, would these be able to interface directly to the computer on their desk to provide any info or does all the call information come from the PABX Server itself?
