Alcatel Unleashed

Hello,

I have following new devices:


Alcatel 6350 Switch with einem SFP-GIG-LX gbic
And
Mediakonverter TP Link MC220L with TL-SM311LS gibic

Now i am trieing to connect them but i can not get it to work. On 6350 i am using the comboport. The led will not come up. For testing i am using a lc/lc 9/125 singelmode cable.

What is going wrong. Do i have to configure the sfp port? It is set to sfp prefered.

Does some one can please help me?

Are you sure that the SFP-GIG-LX are working, what about the fiber optic cable did you check it, on the other end did you check (gbic & media converter)?
