Good morning,

I'm trying to configure one of these older switches to essentially be a 'dumb' switch. However, I can't find the command to set the interface to receive its IP via DHCP.

It doesn't recognize ip interface dhcp-client like the 6850 does and I can't find mention of another way in the guide.

Any one know how this can be done?

dhcp-clients starts with 6.3 or 6.4. (I am not sure). And the 6800 ends with R6.1. You can't update it to a newer release. So this isn't possible.
