I am trying to install the OMS R12 using the bootdvd version -bootdvd.12.0.001.002.x86_64.iso on a Esxi host 5.5 , VMWARE workstation 12.5.6 as well as on esxi 6.0 . I am getting the following error " A logical volume with the requested size could not be created " and the installation fail to continue.Looking into Suse website , this seems to be a bug in Suse 11 sp1 and was corrected

So wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and if so could you please share the resolution details?

Do you use ALEDS to install OMS? Make sure to have the latest version if so.

Unlike the previous Redhat bootdvd , the new R12 OMS boot dvd have several options to chose and not all of them are visible on the main screen and we need to scroll down to select OXE media server
