Hi !

We have a customer that have problem with the door phone, it doesn't recognize the tones from answered phones. The supplier of the door
phone claims that the tone duration is to short, the system is 10.1.1 with patch 38.

I've searched into the chapter timers in sysdoc, but found none that was appropriate.

I've listened to the tones, sometimes the tone is clear, sometimes is just a blip.

Is there any way to increase the tone duration of a release 10 system.

as far as i know DTMF tones are universal, so the duration cannot be changed, beside if you change the duration to "fit" the door phone needs you will have problems when you make an external call to a call center that uses DTMF.
in any case you should be careful when you change the duration of any tone.

Yeah... he listened at it [emoji4], but to be honest, it is a very short tone, often just a short blip, very difficult to hear the actual tone.

You have door phone - PBX - internal phone.
Internal phone - digital/analogue/IP? if you use analogue phone - DTMF sended from phone (not by PBX).

It is a 4039 or 4038/68, eg UA or IP, all the same. All attached on shelf via INTIP2

Do you have analogue (DTMF) internal set? With this set - door phone works?
Door phone - analogue and in the same shelf with digital set?

Nope, the door phone is connected via external operator. The answered phone"s DTMF is sent out via PRA.

Can you try internally? Discard the external issue as a point of possible failure
