System Software Key Duration

HI,
I'd like to ask about service timer of Software key. Under mod typical>system>Software key>service. I'm seeing a countdown est. 3 year from now, though we already loaded the Main key and CTI key. Please see attached screenshot.
Is that timer for software upgrade entitlement only or for system operation?

Hi Chase,

This is the duration of your 'Software Agreement'.
When buying the system, you also bought 'Software Agreement,' which gives you the right for ALE Support and Minor and Major updates during that period.
This support and updates will be provided through your Alcatel partner.
If you do not renew it when it's due, you will not be able to order any updates or support anymore.
Normally your partner will remind you in time to renew it.
This doesn't affect the working of your system if you to choose to NOT renew it.
