Hi,

We are trying to replace a 6850E from a stack of 6 switches.
When the new unit is inserted, it gets into pass-through mode.
To recover from the pass-through mode, I did:
-> stack set slot 1001 saved-slot 5
-> reload pass-through 1001

The new switch has been assigned  slot number 5,
But it is still in pass-through mode and in the state: INC-SLOT
The stack manager tells that an element(251) enters pass-thru mode (incompatible mode)



Any idea?Thank you in advance.

stack set slot 5 saved-mode OS6850E

Hi, can you check the firmware the newly added switch into a stack switch, and compare it to other switches.
