Problem connecting via v24

Hi,

I have a CPU-3m which fired up ok, and i can connect to it via IP. But i still cannot connect via v24.
The cpu has R600_020_003 and i'm connecting with OMC 600 15.1b.

The error i get is:
"PPP-Connection establishment failed
777:The connection attempt failed because the modem (or other connecting device) on the remote computer is out of order."

Any ideas?
Is v24 possibly set for trace?
if i need ot do a swap_serial, whats the process?

I've had problems with every CPU3-m i've received.
from:
  • Software keys not openning vm ports, but the same keys open vm ports on any other cpu, but open software keys will open the vm ports on the problem cpu
  • CPU coming with non-default IP. and unable to login with v24 or ip(telling me installer password was incorrect) although logging in via 4035 with the same default password worked.

You can change it by accessing:
http://PBX IP:81

(ip of the OXO on port 81)
user: installer
pass: your pass for installer

There you have swap serial.

On your second problem: we had same problems with some OXO's lately received. Solved using LOLA and installing a fresh release for the software keys we had.

Regards.

Strange. I'm getting user name and password on the OXO at my office and on other 2 for tests.
Is your PCX running when you try this? IP in the same range, same subnet? Ping ok?

Regards.

Ok. I've run some tests. On CPU1 and 2 it's OK. CPU3 and 3m NOK. I'll try to find another way to swap serrial for you when I'll have some free time.

Regards.

Could you connect to the webdiag page?
https://192.168.92.246/services/webapp
Login: installer Jelszó:[OXO default password]

Also you can activate the V24 startup monitor on the console port:
Login: swap_serial
Password: alcatel

Do not post installer password on the forum please. Use PM if you want to share them.
