Hello guys,

If a I want to use a "one-box" solution for voice and data want I have to use?

Internet an Web package or Extended Communication Server?

I need the fallowing network services:

-file server
-dhcp server
-router
-e-mail server(not necesary built-in OXO; even on a lan station or on a ISP station)
-proxy/cache server
-firewall

There is enough to tick for "internet and web" on actis or a have to tick for "extended office users"
The problem is that the order for the voice system is now almost ready to be delivered with Cpu-3m and I can`t upgrade to cpu-2e.

How you convince a client with a very strong knowledge of network that the solution with ECS (solution that I know is ok for this needs) is the right one for him instead of solution with "internet and web" which is more cheaper.
To understand what is about the client recieve an offer from someone else with "internet and web " package and the offer contain:
CPU LanSwitch Daughterboard

Dual ethernet connectivity daughterboard for an external ADSL modem or LAN to LAN routing

CoCPU-2 co-processing unit

Internet and Web Software license including Internet Access & Firewall‚ Proxy/Cache server‚ Intranet and File server

So.....can somebody help me?

The OXO solution is ok for a small business, but I really don t like it.
I think it's crazy to put all your services (dhcp, email, proxy, phone) in a single point of failure. If the box goes down, you're fucked.

Did you sell what you wanted ?
