Hello guys/girls I have a question a customer asked me, is it possable to externally divert a huntgroup.


E.g ---> The call comes in hits the huntgroup and the hunt group is diverthed to a external number.

Any answer would be much appreciated.

I believe you can, as long as all members of the group have logged out....

I have never tested it my self, but our ACSE advised that.

ok, so i create a group supervision key an all subscribers, then they log out. so how do i then put the divert on the actual HG hunt group.

Immed Divert then sub setting [GROUP]

I want to divert from the group not to the group, Call goes to the group then the group is diverted to an external number.

Details of the group does not have a divert option.


Any other sugestions?

i just did and it works perfect.

x101 had a log out key
x102 had a log out key
x103 had a grp dvt key
x104 was nothing

i logged 101 and 102 out. used 103 grp dvt key and pointed the calls to 104.

they all went to 104...

yes that works, but i cant get it to work externally. DUDE!

divert it to a vt that has a immed diversion to the external source?

not at the office to give it a shot, but maybe that'd work

Hi you can only divert internally from a hunt group, not to external

right for this, get all users to log out of the group apart from 1 member. get that 1 user to do a group forward to a virtual terminal that diverts externally.

for an easier solution use the attandant group and put an attendant divert key on a phone in the group. make sure the number is set as a speed dial. the attendant div key will only go to an edn, hg or speed dial.
