May be Windows Firewall has blocked OMC. Try to temporarily disabling firewall.

Any difference in the OMC release. i always got this trying to use OMC R6 to get into a R6.1 switch yet R5.1 works no problem.

I also sometimes got this message if i tried from a pc that i dont have admin rights. this might only apply to the network settings that we use though

If we could have the reply above in English it would be great. :)

Also.
I got this problem while I was trying to connect to a 600.15.
The OXO was setup and configured with the 610 version of the OMC and everything worked ok. Until one day, for some reason, the OXO stopped receiving calls. We warm reseted it but nothing happend. Eventual, a cold reset took place and the OXO returned to normal.
Th reasons are quite misterious to me so if anyone can clarify what happend it would be nice. :)

For the record I state the below:
1) There where no wrong entries of password. And the password has not changed
2) I was trying to connect to the OXO via a cross cable to the LAN port.
3) the client doesnt have the OMC application at his posetion.

Thank you.

**UPDATE**
After a while the OXO was working normaly the same problem occured: Incoming calls just ring to nothingness and the OXO seems as if it doent receive the calls. But this time I can login via the laptop... Hm strange situation. Anyone care to chip in for ideas? :)

i am having the exact problem with a customer at the moment. I can log in remotely using any version of PM5/OMC above or equal to the system version. customer cannot log in over the LAN, they get this soap login error. have advised them to re-install the software, check they have admin rights on the PC, port not blocked etc. also sending them another version, actually PM5 R4.1 rather than OMC6.1 (what they were using).

They are able to ping the IP adress, rebooted the PC and done a few other minor things. i will keep you posted Vorryn.

You could have em check if they have any kind of firewall OR weird antivirus installed on their PC; Some of the most recent A/V software release have their own little, annoying antivirus intergraded and it causes problems at times. Mentioning that since I see that you can connect via the buildin modem but not the LAN. Make sure that they have no conflicting IP addresses, that the OXO Ip config. is set correctly and give it another go.

Good luck!
