Alcatel Unleashed

Hello,

I recently did an E-Rate bid to replace my Core Switching equipment. Alcatel Lucent presented the OS6860 switches in their bid. I was just wondering what everyone's recommendation is for Alcatel-Lucent core switching and if this is a good model for core switching with good performance. Also, does anyone know how this OS6860 model compares to the Cisco 9300 switches?

Everything depends on your network.
Number of drops. Speed expected. Number of switches connected together.
